There will be two type of quizzes this season, written and live. Written quiz gives you chance to test your own minds against the omniscience; while staged quiz lets you team up and from unbeatable team, each member contributing his or her fields of expertise. All students intending to contest in live quiz are required to appear in the written quiz as it is the qualifying round.The total score of the team shall serve as sole criterion for selection in live quiz.

General Rules:

  1. Three participants per group.
  2. There will be negative marking for foul.
  3. Qualifying round is the written round which would be followed by round 2 to 5.
  4. Decision taken by the judges is considered final. It cannot be challenged in any case.

NOTE:Rules are subject to last minute change. Contact corresponding coordinator(s) for further inquiries. Final Decision lies in hands of Coordinators and Judges. Participants have to abide the decision in all cases.
  • Written Round

    Every team must appear in this round in order to get in the next round.A questionnaire comprising of 10 questions is to be solved in given time period with minimum 8 marks.

  • Direct Question Round

    Each team will be asked a set of questions with decreasing value of marks. Participants have to try and score maximum marks to be in the competition.

  • Buzzer Round

    Questions will be asked in general to all teams comprising audio and video. Negative marking will be for wrong answer and for pressing the buzzer and not answering.

  • Rapid Fire Round

    Each team will be asked questions for 1 min in which they have to try and answer as many questions as possible in that time period.

  • Tie Breaker Round

    This round will take place in case there is a tie between teams. This is same as buzzer round.
