Event Description:

“Ad-Mad Show” provides a platform to young buddies to showcase their talent & creativity by designing & performing drama, jingles logo etc.

Round 1 (Elimination round)

There will be screening rounds based on the number of entries.

Description:

  1. A written test will be conducted of 30 minutes. (25 Questions)
  2. Questions will be related to:
  3. Various forms of advertisements

    Advertising companies

    Effects of advertisements

    Themes of advertisements

    Persons involved in creation of advertisements

    Various advertising agency.

  4. No cell phones & electronic gadgets will be permitted to use.
  5. If there is tie between two teams, then extra questions will be asked, based on the performance of this, one team will be selected.
  6. Result will be announced after 15 minutes from the written test. + 4 will be awarded for every right answer and - 2 will be for wrong answer.
  7. Top 8 teams based on the written test score will go to the Second round.

Round 2 (Dekho Sunno Aur Pehchano)

Description:

  1. Total 08 teams will enter in this round
  2. This round is divided in two phases. In first phase, every team will be asked fixed questions and in second phase the buzzer round is there
  3. It includes identification of company name, product name, and brand name from various Banners, Logos, Spoke characteristics and punch lines through PPT presentation and various Audio Video Visuals. There will be 8 compulsory questions and 2 buzzer questions will be asked in each segment.
  4. Each questions carry + 5 marks for right answer. In compulsory questions no negative marks are there. But in Buzzer round and - 5 will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  5. Top 04 teams will go for the final round

Round 3 (Dramebaaz)

Description:

  1. Total 4 teams will enter in this round. Total 30 minutes will be given to participant for designing their advertisement.
  2. Maximum 5 minutes will be given to each team for presenting their designing as well as drama.
  3. It includes designing of Brand name, Jingle & performing a Drama based on given list of Products/Services/Theme
  4. No cell phones & electronic gadgets will be permitted to use.
  5. No props will be given to participants; participants themselves have to manage additional or extra props.
  6. Every group member has to actively participate during their advertisement performance

Rules

  1. Min 3 & max 4 participants per team are allowed
  2. There are total three rounds. 1st round would be an elimination round. In second round, teams have to identify company name, product name or brand name. This round contains fixed questions to each team as well as buzzer round. Only Buzzer round contains negative markings.
  3. No cell phones & electronic gadgets will be permitted to use.
  4. Every group member has to actively participate during their ad. Drama performance
  5. In whole event, judges’ decision will be final, irrevocable and binding to everyone.
  6. Judging will be done by external judge for round 3.
  7. Decision made by the external judge will be final and acceptable in any cases. The decision of the judge will be final and the rules may vary for the successful completion of the event.
  8. Certificate of participation will be given to all participants.

  4. Relating to Product/Service/Them
  5. Delivery of message

Eligibility:

All regular students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes are eligible to participate in the event.
